These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Machan AI ("we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of our application (the "Service").

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Machan AI.

3. Your Content and AI-Generated Output

You own the content you create. You retain all ownership rights to the prompts you enter and the files you upload ("Input").

You also own the AI's output. To the extent allowed by law, you own the text and images generated by the Service based on your Input ("Output"). You are free to use it for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

You are fully responsible for ensuring your Input and your use of the Output comply with all applicable laws and do not infringe on anyone's rights.

4. Rules of Use

You agree not to use the Service to create or promote illegal content, generate harmful or abusive material, infringe on intellectual property rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer our systems.

5. Important Disclaimers and Acknowledgment of AI Limitations

This is not a lie or a fake warning; it is a factual statement about the current state of AI technology that you must understand.

  1. AI Makes Mistakes: The Output generated by AI models like Google Gemini can be incorrect, biased, or nonsensical. It is not a source of absolute truth.
  2. Do Not Rely on AI for Critical Advice: You must not use Machan AI for professional medical, legal, financial, or any other form of critical advice. The Output is for informational and creative purposes only.
  3. You Are Responsible for Verification: You are solely responsible for fact-checking and verifying any information, code, or other content generated by the Service before using it.

The Service is provided "AS IS," without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service or its Output will be accurate, reliable, or fit for your specific needs.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Machan AI and its developer shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or its Output.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. This is a reflection of the project's origin.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We will post the new Terms on this page. By continuing to use the Service after changes are made, you agree to the new Terms.
