Your conversations are personal. Here’s a transparent look at how your data is handled and the steps taken to protect your privacy.

Trust is everything when it comes to AI. If you’re going to share your ideas, notes, or conversations with Machan AI, you deserve to know exactly how that information is treated. For me, privacy isn’t just a technical detail — it’s a promise. From the very first line of code, I designed Machan AI with safety and transparency at its core.

Built on a Secure Foundation — Firebase

Machan AI runs on Google’s Firebase, which gives it enterprise-level security even though it’s built by a small indie team (me 😅). Firebase handles all the hard parts — data encryption, safe authentication, and reliable hosting — while I focus on keeping your experience fast and private.

  • Encrypted Data: Anything stored in Firestore (like your saved chats or notes) stays encrypted — even when it’s just sitting there.
  • Safe Login: Firebase Authentication protects your account using secure protocols, so no one else can access it.
  • Custom Security Rules: The database is locked down so every user can only see their own data. No exceptions.

Your Data, Your Control

I strongly believe your data belongs to you. Machan AI never sells, shares, or uses your conversations to train any third-party models — ever. Here’s how things actually work behind the scenes:

  1. Conversations: If you use the “Smart Memory” feature, your chats are saved privately so Machan AI can remember context just for you — not anyone else.
  2. AI Requests: When you send a prompt, the message is processed by trusted AI APIs only to generate your reply. They don’t keep or reuse your data afterward.
  3. Transparency Tools: In the near future, I’ll add simple controls so you can view, download, or delete your own data whenever you want.

I’m just one developer — but that means every line of code and every decision goes through me personally. Machan AI was made to be a friendly, safe space for curiosity and creativity, not another data-hungry app. I’ll keep improving its systems, adding more control options, and making sure your trust is always respected.
